Connect one integration
Open Settings, then Integrations, and connect a single service. Slack and GitHub are the easiest first connections. Helios stores the credential encrypted and injects it at the network layer. The agent never sees the token.

Create a workflow
A workflow is a prompt, a model, a trigger, and the tools it may use. Give it a name that says what it does. `Daily standup digest` beats `Workflow 1` when you have twenty of them.

Write the prompt in plain words
Say what the agent should do, which sources it should read, and what a good result looks like. Say what to skip, when to escalate, and what to do when it is unsure. The prompt is the whole configuration.

Pick a model and attach context
Choose the model for this workflow. If the task lives in a codebase, pin the GitHub repository. If it needs a threshold or an API key, store it as a variable or a secret.

Run it by hand and read the transcript
Start the first run yourself. The run page shows every tool call, the arguments, and what came back. This is where you learn whether the prompt said what you meant.

Fix the prompt, then add a trigger
Change the sentence that produced the wrong behavior and run again. Once two or three manual runs look right, add a schedule, a webhook, or an event trigger.
